DiabHQ is a digital diabetes platform that is transforming diabetes care through improved access to data and functionality that supports patients and families, clinicians and researchers.
DiabHQ brings together diabetes data from a range of different sources in a data hub that is managed by The Kids Research Institute Australia. The data can be utilised more effectively to support self-management by patients and families, to improve clinical care and to accelerate research and translation that helps children living with Type 1 diabetes. The DiabHQ Patient Portal app is the first of the three portals to be implemented.
Available for iPhone and Android, the app includes a range of functions to support diabetes management including:
- Resources - Search for and access validated resources
- Appointments - View and prepare for upcoming appointments
- Health Data - View your own health data and pathology results
- Triage - Log a support request
- Notifications - Receive reminders and notifications e.g., trials you may be eligible for
- Settings - Create/maintain a DiabHQ circle of family members and carers with shared access to the app
- Events - View and book for upcoming events
- Files - Share and access files
- Consents - Review what you have consented for
