The Children’s Diabetes Centre showcased its progress in paediatric Type 1 Diabetes research at a JDRF Australia event held at Telethon Kids Institute recently.
The informative evening featured presentations from Centre co-directors Tim Jones and Liz Davis along with a presentation on exercise by Dr Vinutha Shetty, who recently received the Mentored Clinician Researcher Fellowship from the JDRF-led T1D Clinical Research Network.
Panel guests Gayle Scott-Nicholls and Andrew Brown, who are involved in trials at the Centre, also spoke about their experiences of participating in clinical research.
