Perth Children’s Hospital’s Diabetes Clinic is holding a Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) information night on Wednesday, May 29.

Topics will include:

  • CGM interpretation of trend arrows for food boluses and exercise by Children’s Diabetes Centre’s head of technology research, Dr Mary Abraham.
  • Using CGM reports, recognising patterns, Increasing time in range, Flash Glucose Monitoring, CGM and pump (closed loop) and skin care by PCH’s diabetes department’s Acting Clinical Nurse Consultant Liz Broad CDE.
  • Managing information overload, phones as medical devices and device fatigue by social worker Kirsty Browne-Cooper.
  • Managing the impact of food on glucose levels by a department dietitian.

The information night will be held in the hospital’s level 5 auditorium. Please arrive at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. The evening finishes at 8pm.
