CLEAR study

The research team at Perth Children's Hospital and the Children's Diabetes Centre are looking for participants to be involved in the new CLEAR study

Do you have type 1 diabetes (T1D)? Do you sometimes struggle to recognise symptoms of low blood sugar? Are you between the ages of 18-75?

We are looking for people with T1D and impaired hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) awareness to take part in a research study at The Kids Research Institute Australia at Perth Children’s Hospital.

The purpose is to test different strategies (education and/or new technology) to restore symptoms and protect against hypoglycaemia. People on pumps, injections, or closed loops are welcome in the study.
