Over the last three months we have been busy working in partnership with researchers on many different projects. Some of these are:
- Creation of Research Buddy Database for future projects. If you are interested in being a Research Buddy and work alongside our researchers on specific projects, please contact our Community Involvement Coordinator at community@childrensdiabetesresearch.org.au to find out how.
- Projects with Research Buddies:
- Early Access to Insulin Pumps at Diagnosis;
- DiabHQ - Patient Portal Reference Group and Steering Committee;
- CaLD Resources;
- Use of CGMs
- Community Conversations held:
- Supporting Families with Early-Stage T1D
- Focus Groups held:
- Supporting Families with Early-Stage T1D
- External support provided: The Kids Research Institute Australia EMBRACE Childhood Trauma Group - explore the mental health experiences of young people aged 13 - 17 years living with T1D and codesign a mental health program to best support their wellbeing.
