Congratulations Professor Liz Davis, Co-director of the Rio Tinto Children's Diabetes Centre, based at The Kids Research Institute Australia and Perth Children's Hospital, who has been awarded the prestigious Norman Wettenall Medal by the Australia and New Zealand Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes (ANZSPED), for her Excellence in Research and Innovation.
Professor Davis, who is also an endocrinologist and Head of Endocrinology and Diabetes Department at Perth Children’s Hospital, was awarded the medal at the 2024 ANZSPED conference in Canberra.
The Norman Wettenhall Medal recognises a strong research track record and research translation, outstanding contribution to mentoring and a high involvement in policy.
