DiabHQ App Rollout

The new DiabHQ Patient Portal App for WA children and families living with type 1 diabetes is set for rollout from November.

DiabHQ App Rollout

We are very excited to let you know that the DiabHQ App will be rolled out to eligible families from November. If you have consented to DiabHQ, you will automatically be sent an email invitation that allows you to download the App when the rollout reaches your clinic.

Here’s what users are saying:

About 40 families have been using the DiabHQ App as part of a Pilot Study. Here’s what some of the users have told us:

  • “Easy to navigate and find the phone numbers I need."
  • “This app looks amazing”
  • “I love the note taking section for appointments to remind myself little questions to ask.”
  • “I’ve really been enjoying using the app - the best part is all my daughter’s health information is in one place.”
  • “Looks pretty comprehensive and very, very intuitive.”
  • “Great that I could log a Triage request in the middle of the night and not have to set a reminder for the morning to call and leave a message.”

When can I download the DiabHQ App?

The DiabHQ App will be progressively rolled out to eligible families in the PCH Diabetes Service from November. When the rollout reaches your clinic, you will automatically be sent an email invitation which includes a link to download the app, if you are eligible. Look out for an email from donotreply@diabhq.org.au.

Who is eligible to use the DiabHQ App?

To be eligible you will need to have provided consent to participate in DiabHQ. Please speak to your clinical team next time you’re in clinic to make sure that you are eligible.

What if I don’t receive an invitation or I can’t get the link to work?

You can contact the DiabHQ support team by emailing support@diabhq.org.au if you have any queries at all about the DiabHQ App.

What’s in the DiabHQ App?

The DiabHQ App has been co-designed with consumers and includes a range of functions to support diabetes management, such as:
