MOSMAN Park family-of-five is part of a study aiming to determine the factors that trigger, protect or develop type 1diabetes in young children.
Sam Turner was diagnosed with the disease in 2015 when his wife Ashling was newly pregnant with their son Howie.
Mrs Turner said she first heard from her midwife about the ENDIA study, run by the Children’s Diabetes Centre (CDC) and based at The Kids Research Institute Australia.
