Guardian 4 sensor on NDSS
The Guardian 4 sensor, which has recently been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration for use in Australia, has now been added to the NDSS (National Diabetes Service Scheme).
The Australian Government provides access for eligible people to subsidised continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) products, including Guardian™ 4 Sensor through the NDSS.
The much anticipated Guardian 4 sensor can be used with the Medtronic 780G pump and is also a stand alone sensor. The new sensor doesn’t require regular calibrations.
All people with type 1 diabetes are eligible to apply through the NDSS.
