Are you aged 16 to 24 years and live with type 1 diabetes? Do you want to make a difference to the mental health and wellbeing of other young people living with a chronic condition like diabetes, asthma, heart disease, chronic fatigue, chronic pain or an autoimmune disease?
Researchers at The Kids Research Institute Australia are looking for eight young people to join a national community reference group to help develop an exciting new program of research, with the support of the Starlight Foundation.
The aim of the program is to understand the mental health and wellbeing needs of young people with chronic physical illnesses and to find effective ways of improving their wellbeing and resilience.
Applications close August 7. For more information, click here.
