New app a handy tool for appointments

Outpatients with appointments at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) can now use WA Health’s first patient-facing app – Manage My Care – to access their appointment and referral information.

Outpatients with appointments at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) can now use WA Health’s first patient-facing app – Manage My Care – to access their appointment and referral information.

Eligible outpatient appointments for PCH will be able to view booked appointments and referrals in Manage My Care.

The app allows users to:

  • easily view their future outpatient appointments and referrals 24/7
  • view and track appointments and referrals for people they care for
  • update their contact details
  • access information about their appointment and hospital visit

“The app will be particularly helpful for those in the new diagnosis stage of managing their appointments and should be referred to now instead of their planners,” Kelly West, from PCH’s Diabetes Clinic, said.

“The Manage My Care app is so up-to-date that any changes made are updated almost immediately, so all families should consider downloading it, no matter what clinic they attend.”

Manage My Care can be downloaded as a free app from the Apple Store or Google Play. If people don’t have access to a smart device, they can access the app via a web portal on HealthyWA.

If you have issues downloading the app, please contact Outpatient Direct (Mon-Fri 7.30am-5.30pm) on 1800 517 133.
