Due to COVID-19, diabetes clinics across WA run by the Diabetes Service at Perth Children's Hospital are now using telehealth.
We understand this is a big change that happened quickly. We would like to take this opportunity to evaluate the use of telehealth for clinics and to find out what it has been like for the families of our service.
To do this we will be conducting a study using information collected from multiple sources including the clinic databases, hospital records and directly from families through online questionnaires.
There will be no face to face visits or changes to diabetes treatment for the study. We will provide more information when we are looking for families to participate.
