Oral insulin study

Diabetes researchers from Perth Children’s Hospital would like to find out whether oral insulin is useful in T1D management and is safe for use in individuals with T1D. They are looking for participants aged 16 – 25 years to be involved in their Oral Insulin 12-week study.

Oral Insulin 12-week study

Diabetes researchers from Perth Children’s Hospital would like to find out whether oral insulin is useful in T1D management and is safe for use in individuals with T1D.

They are looking for participants aged 16 – 25 years to be involved in their Oral Insulin 12-week study.

To be in this study, your child needs to be:

  • Aged 16-25 years;
  • Been living with diabetes for longer than 1 year;
  • Currently using the auto-mode function of their insulin pump; and
  • Have HbA1c less than or equal to 9.0%
