Volunteers are needed for the upcoming camp for 11 and 12-year-olds living with Type 1 Diabetes.

Volunteers are needed for an upcoming superhero-themed camp for young people living with Type 1 Diabetes.

The Princess Margaret Hospital camp for 11 and 12-year-olds runs from April 18-20 and will have 36 campers in attendance.

Volunteers are required to support PMH Diabetes staff by encouraging the campers to be doing what they’re meant to be doing at that given time. You will also get the opportunity to participate in some amazing activities such as the flying fox, abseiling wall, water-based activities and our disco (with dress up, of course!).

The team will also be utilising continuous glucose monitors on our campers so it will also be a great learning experience for you.

Volunteers need to be prepared to stay overnight, help out and have fun!
