The PMH Diabetes and Endocrinology clinic is seeking donations of old Apple and android devices to pass on to families for CGM.

The PMH Diabetes and Endocrinology clinic is seeking donations of old Apple and Android devices — mobiles, iPads, tablets and iPods — to pass on to families about to embark on CGM.

Though CGM is subsidised, some families who are not on an insulin pump are unable to afford compatible phone devices to view their CGM information, meaning they cannot use this technology.

Compatible devices are:

  • iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone SE
  • iPod touch 5th Gen, iPod touch 6th Gen
  • iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad 5, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro
  • Apple Watch (1st Generation), Apple Watch Series 1, Apple Watch Series 2 watch, OS 3.0, 3.1, 3.1.3, 3.2, 3.2.2
  • iOS 8.1.2, 8.1.3, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.4.1, 9.0, 9.0.1, 9.0.2, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.3.1, 9.3.2, 9.3.3, 9.3.4, 9.3.5, 10.0.1, 10.0.2, 10.0.3, 10.1, 10.1.1, 10.2, 10.2.1, 10.3, 10.3.1, 10.3.2
