Evaluation of the DS5 performance over a fifteen-day wear period study.
Researchers from the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) and the Kids Research Institute Australia (The Kids) want to see how a continous glucose monitoring (CGM) system that is not yet approved for sale in Australia, compares to YSI bedside analyser glucose readings.
Participants will be asked to wear two to four sensors on the arm for fifteen days and to attend the Research Unit at PCH on three separate days.
On one day you will have a Hypo, on another you will have a Hyper, and on the final day you will have the sensor removed.
