Telehealth Service Available

The Diabetes WA Telehealth for country WA service is a free education and clinical support service available in rural and remote areas of WA.

Do you live in rural or regional WA? The Diabetes WA Telehealth for country WA service is a free education and clinical support service, available to people living with diabetes in rural and remote areas of Western Australia.

Virtual appointments are provided by credentialled diabetes educators who can young people in  self-management of their diabetes .They provide appointment that are similar their face-to-face consultation where they can talk about their diabetes, ask questions and raise issues that they are unable to manage. 

Telehealth appointments are free of charge and are funded by WA Country Health Service and WA Primary Health Alliance. Being funded outside of Medicare, they do not count toward their five allied health visits accessed through a GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangement.
