The PERSIST Study

Help us to understand how to engage other youth who live with T1D. 

Researchers from the Children's Diabetes Centre, mental health team, will be running a community workshop for the first stage of the PERSIST Study (the phenomenology of suicidal and self-injurious thoughts and behaviours in young people living with Type 1 Diabetes).

In the workshop, we will discuss the best ways for us to engage with young people living with T1D who have lived experiences with poor mental health, and how we can set up a safe space to have this conversation in the future.

We are looking for:

•Young people living with T1D between the ages of 15 to 25 years old.
•Parents and carers of young people living with T1D.
•Places are limited to 10 people.

When: Monday 9th June, 5:30pm to 8:30pm

Where: Type 1 Family Centre, 11 Limosa Close, Stirling

*Light food and beverages will be available and a $30 per hour reimbursement for participating.
