Measures of Early-life Behavior and Later Psychopathology in the LifeCycle Project-EU Child Cohort Network: A Cohort DescriptionThe EU LifeCycle Project was launched in 2017 to combine, harmonize, and analyze data from more than 250,000 participants across Europe and Australia, involving cohorts participating in the EU-funded LifeCycle Project. The purpose of this cohort description is to provide a detailed overview of the major measures within mental health domains that are available in 17 European and Australian cohorts participating in the LifeCycle Project.

Suboptimal glycemic control in adolescents and young adults with type 1 diabetes from 2011 to 2020 across Australia and New Zealand: Data from the Australasian Diabetes Data Network registryCompeting challenges in adolescence and young adulthood can distract from optimal type 1 diabetes (T1D) self-management, and increase risks of premature morbidity and mortality. There are limited data mapping the glycemic control of people with T1D in this age group, across Australasia.

Association of Achieving Time in Range Clinical Targets With Treatment Modality Among Youths With Type 1 DiabetesContinuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices have demonstrated efficacy in adults and more recently in youths and older adults with type 1 diabetes. In adults with type 1 diabetes, the use of real-time CGM compared with intermittently scanned CGM was associated with improved glycemic control, but there are limited data available for youths.
The Rio Tinto Children's Diabetes Centre is a research centre that aims to improve the lives of children and young adults living with diabetes by bringing together research, education and clinical care.
The Centre includes researchers at The Kids Research Institute Australia’s Diabetes Research Team and the Diabetes Service at the Perth Children’s Hospital.
Type 1 diabetes is a chronic autoimmune disease that results from the immune system attacking the insulin-producing cells of the pancreas. Unlike type 2 diabetes which is potentially preventable, type 1 is a non-preventable disease - currently, its exact cause is not known and there is no cure.
